Online Digital Database (ODD) for Trauma Awareness and Parasympathetic Activities, Tools, and Resources for Adult Learning Environments
- Instructions for effectively using the search function by optimally using the search parameters:
- Parameters for searching: The content of this database are categorized into the following categories: Projects, Policy Papers, Methodologies and Pedagogical Approaches, and Tools and Resources. You can also search for a data that originates from a specific country. Lastly, you have the option to specify your choice of language for searching the data.
- Drop-Down Menu: There is a drop-down menu in the yellow boxes in front of each of the above three search parameters. Please use the drop down menu option to click and select your desired search parameters in the yellow boxes. You have the freedom to specify any 1 or 2 or all 3 parameters, using the respective drop-down menu.
1) Only one search parameter: Eg: P1 Category - Tools and Resources.
(2) Any two search parameters: Eg: P1 Category - Tools and Resources + P2 Country of origin: Austria.
(3) All three search parameters: Eg: P1 Category - Tools and Resources + P2 Country of origin: Austria + P3 Language - German.
Search and Clear Function:
Please click on the “Search” button and you will have a sorted list of data, as per your chosen parameters.
Please click on the “Clear” button to close your current search and initiate a new search by repeating the above process.
- Good to Know: The key purpose of the PEACE Database is to privilege a search based on your pre-defined parameters and provide you a synopsis or a short description of “What is available?”. A salient feature is to enhance your awareness about tools and resources that may be available in the languages of partner countries, eg: German, Greek, Estonian or Lithuanian and of course, English. Thus, a German Adult Trainer who may have little or no knowledge of Greek or Estonian or Lithuanian, has an opportunity to become aware of the existence of a pedagogical approach or a didactical tool in any of these languages.
Added Value:
(1) Saving time: Through a process of pre-selection and peer-review, we have aspired to offer you a set of didactical tools and resources that is thematically relevant and thereby saves your professional time for searching on the internet.
(2) Expanded scope of search: A search on this database may inform you about tools and resources available in other languages, which you most likely may omit to search.
- Limitation: The description of voluminous content in all the languages is beyond the scope of development of this result. Tip: online translation tools!
